 Bumblebee Or Bumble 

Bumblebee, the 2nd most iconic Autobot! Back in the original G1, Bumblebee is just a talkative Autobot member and he's a very good friend to Spike.

This could also be the best and most satisfying robot/vehicle transformation that a Masterpiece figure can ever have.

Impression

The robot mode looks CUTE. Bumblebee's iconic color-catchy, small and love-able characters are capture in this figure. This toy is small but is very solid. One of the best thing about Bumblebee is that the transformation is simple and everything clicks into place, there's no room for kibbles!

The robot mode is almost cartoon accurate, but the backpack behind gives it away.

The vehicle mode is solid as well. It is also aesthetic to the original VW car. The Tyre rims are even embossed with "VW" logos.

The car also rolls incredibly smooth! Due to the car base being high above the ground, this figure can really roll.

Transformation

Easy, simple, yet elegant. There is nothing much else to tell besides being nice to play with, from vehicle to robot and robot to vehicle again. Everything just clicks into place; even without an instruction book, a seasoned transformers fan can figure out easily where those parts should be placed.

Articulation

In robot mode, the head is not able to look up/down only sideways. The feet is not really pose able due to the big car hood. Other than that, he can really rock.

As of the vehicle mode, it's just ... a car. Just a car with rolling wheels, no extra parts, such as an open door or hood.

Feature

Straight out of the box he comes with Daniel in an exo-suit (This will be covered in the next blog).

Gun - Bumblebee has a small blaster. His hand however does not have any finger joints, so it a straight plug-in to the fist method.

Gun can be stored under the vehicle.

Spare tires - Takara included, a spare-tyre and a license plate to be attached to the back of the car.

Change to a license plate.
** The license plate can be hidden in the spare tire.

Face - Sadly, there is only 1 interchangeable face for Bumblebee. What is bad is that both faces  have similar in expression.

All in All

A very lovely figure and very toned down Autobot that doesn't really  look macho nor violent. Within the crowd of Masterpieces, he is very unique, so here's a few more shots to the great Bumblebee figure.
