MP-28 Hotrod
HOTROD
MP-28 marks as the second Hot Rod design within the masterpiece series.
Impression
The color is just stunning, I had always loved Hotrod for his striking bold color. He have quite a good articulation, with both knees and elbows, that comes with a double hinged joint. The torso can turn as well. There are no diecast parts on him. |

Transformation
Again, compared to Original MP-09, the transformation of this is much more simpler, and satisfying. You can easily get it transformed with the instruction.
The transformation part to fold hood of the car into the chest of HotRod, some force is needed to fold it. Picture below show's how it'll look like:.

The figures comes with a visor, hidden beneath the helmet.
There is also a space for the matrix to be placed into. The matrix is not provided and has to be pulled out from MP-10(Optimus Prime) figure. Of course, the place to store the Matrix of leadership look far off to the stomach rather than the chest.
Guns - It comes with 2 rifle, which can be attached on the vehicle.
Rotary blades - The hand can be folded to place in the rotary blade.
Fishing rod - Yes, the first activity hotrod is doing when the movie starts.

All-in-all
This hotrod has many improvement over the older Masterpiece - Hotrod. It's not really a perfect toy due to the rear baggage the robot carries, but he sure is worth a purchase.
