MP-50 Tigatron

Impression
Actually I had gone wary of Masterpiece figures, as show accurate they can be in both transformed and robot form, the transformation has been very displeasing. Being displayed on shelf though, it's another thing :)
Firstly - I don't think Tigatron can withstand the test of time; the flaps near the arm needs force to fold (it took me nearly 3minutes before finally being brave enough to bend it forcefully). Overtime, maybe 10years, I trust the plastic will be so brittle as it will break upon force. Same can be told for Optimus Primal.
Secondly - He does not share the same mold as Cheetor, Tigatron is much bulkier. The transformation is totally different although the end result appears almost the same. I'm happy with this, though, Cheetor do appears to be more articulated in beast mode, especially on the hind legs but Tigatron is not a let-down.
Thirdly - Love or hate with masterpiece transformation, Tigatron however applies more tabs than most masterpiece, all the tab fits and doesn't dangle, leaving me to know what's intact and what is wrong. It's genius, I do thank the creators for it.

Great to include these. |
Fourth - Gosh no place to hide or attach his gun in Robot mode. That's bad.
Fifth - Not as perfect from the rear compared to Cheetor, the hind legs are exposed and his fist are layed-bare. Cheetor had it concealed better.

Very obvious fist is seen, the hind legs are very exposed as well. |
Sixth - Love the smart way of double sided bend. but this bending works both ways as it's in the joint is in the center, making it looks bent in both ways which in actual fact, it's not.

If it's fully bent, it actually looks like it's on the opposite side. It's very visible in robot mode like it's twisted in another side. |

While looks correct in this way too. |
Transformation
Not difficult and nice to actually turns up to be fun. So far the best i had besides Megatron, he had curved edges but he's easier to transform.
Though again, the arm flaps are god-difficult to fold. That's the only part, asides from that I can even manage to get it back in beast-form relying little with the manual.
Overall
As a fan of Beastwars, I bear no regrets getting this figure. For the 50th figure this is not a let-down figure, if one pay attention to the details applied, there are a great deal of ingenuity introduced.
If Rhinox and Air-razor gets their own Masterpiece, then Season 1 Maximal team is complete!
